Hi, Doctors:
My dentist drilled a small portion of cutting surface on
my upper front teeth to make them flat, but did not polish them after
drilling. After that, I felt the cutting surface was kind of rough,
not as smooth as before. And I felt a small slope at edge of the inner
teeth and a ridge along the slope.
Should I go back and ask the dentist to grind off the ridge and polish
surface to
make to more smooth? Or it is does not matter? Will the rough surface
hurt my
bottom teeth when biting together?

ask your dentist to smooth it. eating salad also helps. |

It is not likely to do any harm. However, by all means ask your
dentist to polish it. Should only take a minute.

Thanks. I want to make sure it doesn't abrade the bottom tooth badly
when I bite down. Can I try to use some toothpaste to polish it? I
feel the polishing tool at dental office is too strong. |

It's not too strong. Promise me you'll stay away from the disk sander too.
