I am pleased to announce the release of our software VisuMap
version 2.3. VisuMap is a general-purpose visualization software
for multivariate data; it implements a collection of dimensionality
reduction and clustering algorithms to help people to investigate
high dimensional data visually and interactively.
VisuMap 2.3 is a major upgrade from its previous release. It has
been fully upgraded to the DotNet 2.0 platform. Main features of
this release include:
* Dimensionality reduction algorithms: RPM (relational
perspective map), Sammon mapping, PCA/SVD and CCA.
All implementations support both 2D and 3D maps.
* Clustering algorithms: Self-organizing map, K-Mean
clustering, and metric clustering.
* Fast 3D animation that takes advantage of DirectX
compliant graphic card.
* Visualization of influence of data attributes.
* Extensive scripting and plug-in interface
* Importing and exporting data from various formats: CSV,
HTML tables, Database, XML. Supported image formats include
SVG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, SVG etc.
* Support for multi-datasets and the data filter concept.
The free trial version of VisuMap has no time limit; and it allows
access to all its features. The only restriction for of the trial
version is the maximal dataset size, which can be removed by
obtaining a commercial license. The trial version can be
downloaded at:
