Hi:

When I was studying numerical analysis at school, everything is serial.

But nowadays, more ppl are dealing with parallel algorithm. Yes, there are

books talk about many different parallel algorithms for certain problems,

e.g., matrix algebra and quadrature rules. But I am more interested to see

if there are more theoretical books on parallel computing, not just a set of

algorithms. For example, J Strikwerda's FD book gives a broad and detailed

understanding for FD used for PDEs. I'm looking for something similar but

for parallel numerical methods.
