Hi:
Is there any part of the world whose climate has no wind at all yet has
a temperature of 32 F or below, and is always overcast with clean white
clouds and full of snow?
I like cold, wet, and cloudy and snowy. Yet I absolutely *hate* wind.
My paradisical climate is absolutely calm and still with no trace of
wind. Yet the temperatue is at or below freezing, the sky is completely
cloudy, the ground is covered with smooth creamy snow, the air is
filled with clean fog. The area is dense with black-colored
Canis-rufus-floridanis wolves feeding on fresh black-colored moose.
Clean = free of pollutants such as sulfuric acid
Any assistance on this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Radium |

An interesting request! I think places like Juneau, Alaska, would come
close to this, though it has winds. But something surrounded by
mountains would lessen wind speed. The problem with "clouds, no wind"
is that the low pressure systems often causing clouds would also bring
windy conditions.
You might have to import your fauna, however....

Darn! I prefer flatland. I don't really care for mountains or hills. I
guess there is always a trade-off.

Yup. Thats a major obstacle.

and my Flora! I would like the area to be filled with forestry and
greenery.
What would be prettier than a cold, wet, snowy, fog-rich, bright-green
forest that is free of any wind? |
