Has anyone tried Hypertherm's Powermax 30? I was considering the
Powermax 380 but I now see the Powermax 30 has taken its place. Just a
little concerned about the automatic voltage switching, increased
amperage and all of that with 60% less weight? I know it is probably
electronic black magic and it has a three year warranty, but I am still
a bit twitchy about a new product. Comments? |

Would be interesting to know. I went kind of the opposite route,
bought something the size of a kitchen range that is called Hypertherm
Max 100. It does 100 amp at 80% duty cycle, something I do not really
need.

You'll need it when you buy that surplus battleship and need to cut it
up to sell on ebay... |
