The forums cover a wide variety of topics and are fully-moderated, so
there is much less interference with the discussion and a lot more
friendly people there. Clear skies to you.

Is it really (only) about astronomy . . .

Check out section 2.2 pertaining to the rights that get transferred
when a person submits posts, etc.

.. . . or is it (also) really about profit, loss of (your) rights, and
loss of (your) freedoms?

That *seems* really sinister when you read it, and maybe it *is*
sinister. But it is also boilerplate text -- the sort of agreement that
is common when submitting material for publication. If you have ever
sold photographs or sold written works you may have seen this text
before -- except that it is often possible to have that text eliminated
from a contract; the buyer is hoping you didn't read it, and if you did
read it and don't agree, it isn't a deal-buster if they want your work.
