Doesn't sound too promising, but teeth are good sources of DNA.
This specimen has obviously been handled a lot, and pretty easy to
contaminate with modern DNA. Have to check around and see if teeth are
as porous as bone.

6. Tests of bone samples.
Merriwether wrote some journal artices on the subject of teeth being
better than bone in most cases. Maybe something was said in the report.
I read it some time ago, so I don't really remember what they said, if
anything, but worth a look I think.
