I have two chickens with really horrible eye infections. There's a lot of
crusting and thick, clear viscous fluid coming from both eyes in both birds.
What can I do to cure this if possible? If it's a medicine, how can I get
it? What is causing this? Does anyone have any experience with this one? One
of my favorites has picked it up after a few birds had it earlier.

Look up Mycoplasma in chickens and take the relevant info to your nearest
vet or drug provider
If that does not fit come back :~)
good luck

Thanks, although I haven't noticed the noisy breathing. I also found
something on Ammonia burn that mainly affects the eyes and causes this
symptom, although that's supposedly from wet litter and it's been really dry
here recently. They do sleep on the ground in the same spot at night, back
in the corner of a little shelter I have in their pen, but they're out
during the day. How likely is that?

I'll see if I can call the vet tomorrow then. Thanks for the quick response.

That is one of many secondary symptoms
Mycoplasma is one of those little blighters that works on the birds to
weaken them
The overt symptoms we actually SEE are from other infections - bacteria/
viruses or whatever - that take advantage of the weakened bird.
They will not all show all symptoms
Cheesy eyes can occur without wheezing

Ammonia you would notice -- !!!!

As most of the symptoms tend to be secondary infections and often bacterial
then a solid dose of an antibiotic can often to a grand job
