Hi,

I kid you not. This morning the L.A. Daily News, there was an article
stating that the terms Master Drive and Slave Drive were derogatory
and demeaning and that Primary Drive and Secondary Drive should be
used instead when describing IDE computer devices in City of Los
Angeles computers.

Instead I suggest the following alternatives,

Manager Drive / Secretary Drive

Engineer Drive / Technician Drive

Husband Drive / Wife Drive

Man Drive / Woman Drive

Boy Drive / Girl Drive

Bull Drive / Cow Drive

Manly Man Drive / Girly Boy Drive

Macho Drive / Sissy Drive

Fortran Programmer Drive / C++ Programmer Drive

Republican Drive / Democrat Drive

Feel free to join in on the fun.

There are a lot more but they are all really disgusting and I won't
list them. :-)

drive systems. We can establish a pecking order for ranking drives. Maybe
we should describe drives as emporer, king, prince, duke... drives. I
purposefully leave out empress, queen, and princess out as descriptors so
that women can have something to bitch about.

Bill

Why not Amway as a role model and have Sapphire,Diamond, Ruby and
Emerald drives. The only problem I can see is the drive rankings would
shift around based on performance and you'd keep losing your files.
