Mike you have the stones to complain about **my** posts being SPAM??????
I just took a look at misc.industry.electronics.marketplace and found:

Queer Congressmen
Help support my heart surgery
Nude girls of several sorts
Bush the Terrorist
DVD Movies
Income for simple people
Let Oprah make you rich

You squawk about a slightly off topic post for test equipment, yet I am
willing to bet NONE of the posts above that I noticed got a reply from you.

Mike have you nothing better to do with your time? Do you honestly think
that anyone really cares about this, and in the global scheme of things,
that it really matters one way or another?
Spend some time in the real world once in a while, you might like it

Well, in the case of s.e.d, it's clearly SPAM because it's being
offered for sale and ads aren't generally welcome here, as you've
been told before, on numerous occasions. It might be a little
different if you at least participated in some technical discusions
here, but the only time you show up is when you're schlepping
something for sale.

Well, Art, it seems that since you can differentiate between your
posts and SPAM on misc.industry.electronics.marketplace, where your
posts are on-topic and welcome, you should also be able to see the
difference on other newsgroups where your sales-related posts are
clearly SPAM and unwelcome. Especially when you've been asked, time
and time again, not to SPAM those newsgroups with your ads.

Such being the case, one would think that tit-for-tat would be
de rigueur, but no... you continue SPAMming the groups you don't
care about while complaining about SPAM on those you do care about.

That seems to me to be pretty close to the _height_ of hypocrisy.
Doesn't it seem the same to you?

Also, in the sci.* groups, bottom-posting is considered to be the
norm, which you should have picked up on by now, yet you exclusively
top-post. Even Google Groupers should know better.

From:

http://groups.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12348&topic=250

"Summarize what you're following up.

When you click "Reply" under "show options" to follow up an existing
article, Google Groups includes the full article in quotes, with the
cursor at the top of the article. Tempting though it is to just
start
typing your message, please STOP and do two things first.
Look at the quoted text and remove parts that are irrelevant.
Then, go to the BOTTOM of the article and start typing there.
Doing this makes it much easier for your readers to get through your
post. They'll have a reminder of the relevant text before your
comment, but won't have to re-read the entire article.
And if your reply appears on a site before the original article
does,
they'll get the gist of what you're talking about."

Have a happy and prosperous new year. :-)
