The important news yesterday was not the capture of SH because the
guerrilla warfare against Americans in Iraq will not go away whether
SH is caught or free.
The important news yesterday was the fact that Mr. Musharref
(spelling) was almost killed and the fact that Pakistan has nuclear
weapons.
The possibility that Pakistan has a change of leader who is less
stable than Mr. Musharref and the Indian subcontinent goes into a
Localized Nuclear War. Or the possibility that nuclear weapons
material is smuggled out of Pakistan or NorthKorea and is detonated in
Baghdad or wherever is the largest concentration of US soldiers in
Iraq. That is the important news of 14 Dec 03.
The USA should not be bogged down in Iraq with "nation building". The
USA should be creating and building a M.A.D. Fleet that is stationed
off the coast of NorthKorea and Pakistan and Iran. The world at this
moment in time should be focused on stopping countries from building
nuclear arsenals. And most importantly, give incentive for existing
nuclear armed countries from dismantling their stocks.
That is what a M.A.D. Fleet would do. Give incentive to dismantle
existing nuclear weapons and give incentive for countries never to get
into the business of creating a nuclear weapon.
Just like 11 Sept 01, this Bush administration is years behind in what
it should be doing. It takes a tragedy such as 11Sept01 to get this
Bush administration to act and solve terrorism.
Likewise, it will take a huger tragedy such as the entire Indian
subcontinent going up in a nuclear flame and fire and pollution before
the Bush administration says "lets put a M.A.D. Fleet in place". Or
perhaps NorthKorea sells terrorists a nuclear bomb to ignite in
Baghdad.
The Bush team should not be in Iraq trying to build democracy when
that is the last thing the Iraqis need or want or capable of doing.
Iraq is probably going to shatter and splinter into 3 or 4 or more
different tinier countries.
So while the USA should be building and creating a M.A.D. Fleet to
motivate the world to dismantle nuclear weapons and to motivate
nonnuclear countries to never build nuclear weapons. That is what the
USA should be doing right now and not trying to nation-build in a
country of Iraq that is not ready for it and perhaps one of the worst
countries to make a democracy with its divergent ethnic groups.
Trouble with the Bush team is that they are not solving the big
problems and leaving them to take place and cause future tragedies.
Bush should have kept his eye on terrorism when elected in 2000
instead of pissing around with education. Bush should now have an eye
on nuclear weapons buildup by unstable countries, instead Bush is
bogged down in Iraq with an experiment in Democracy when that is not
of much importance whilst Pakistan, NorthKorea and China-Taiwan and
Iran could ignite a Nuclear Exchange and pollute this planet with
radioactive waste.
As I stated in a previous post, the president of the USA should be
given a qualifying examination in Logic before he/she can take that
office. Because our present president of Mr. Bush is incompetent in
Logic and does not understand Priorities. And he will only lead us
into the next big tragedy.
With the attempted killing of Mr. Mushareff (forgive the spelling),
how easy or difficult would it be for terrorists to get a nuclear
materials from Pakistan and
explode it in Baghdad where it would leave a radioactive dump pile for
the entire 21st century.
I am happy to say though that it appears as if Mr. Blair of England is
making the correct moves, even though Mr. Bush is not. Mr. Blair is
going more towards Europe of France and Germany and the EU and trying
to put together a M.A.D. Fleet. Thank goodness there are leaders
across the Atlantic that have more brains than the USA leaders.
Every day that this planet has no police force that motivates nuclear
armed countries to dismantle and motivates nonnuclear countries from
never building nuclear weapons then this small planet is in deep
danger.
