Around 1990 Henry W. Kendall, a Nobel prize winner in physics, signed
an appeal called “World scientists warning to humanity”
which could not more clearly show the dangers and devastation that
science has caused to the entire planet. Does anybody have any idea
whether this document has brought any real effects or is it forgotten
now? Perhaps we just mumble that we must do something about the
environment, but cannot do anything, because the big guys aren’t
interested? |

When this warning was posted here, Sunny and the other signatories were
labeled as communist dupes, fools, liars, and crackpot anti-business
socialists who should either be executed for economic treason or sent
packing to Russia. |
