USHCN Temperature Record of the Week: Detroit Lakes, Minnesota
----------------------------------------------------------
To bolster our claim that "There Has Been No Global Warming for the
Past 70 Years," each week we highlight the temperature record of one
of the 1221 U.S. Historical Climatology Network (USHCN) stations from
1930-2000.
This issue's temperature record of the week is from Detroit Lakes,
Minnesota. During the period of most significant greenhouse gas
buildup over the past century, i.e., 1930 and onward, Detroit Lakes'
mean annual temperature has cooled by 0.35 degrees Fahrenheit. Not
much global warming here!

Ho hum! HERE WE GO AGAIN:
WHY DOES "Dr." Convection CONTINUE TO TELL HALF-TRUTHS?
When you look at the entire record, all 108 points of it,
not just the years from 1930 to 2000, Detroit Lakes, MN
warmed by 0.161 F per decade. There is PLENTY of global
warming here!
WHY DOES "Dr." Convection CONTINUE TO TELL HALF-TRUTHS?
What does "Dr." Convection think he will gain by cutting
and pasting the half-truths of the Idso's every week?
Does he actually want to intentionally develop a reputation
as a boldface liar?
F/Dec ST Station Name Lat Long AltFt Years
0.161 MN DETROIT LAKES 1NNE , 46.83 -95.85 1375 , 108
WHY DOES "Dr." Convection CONTINUE TO TELL HALF-TRUTHS?
Mr. Idso, of the "CO2 Science" website, like most fossil fools,
is "not so facto." He only provides data from 1930 to 2000,
ignoring both data before 1930 and after 2000. Fossil fools
can't tell 'the truth, the WHOLE truth, and nothing but the
truth.' For your reference, the WHOLE USHCN mean temperature
data are here:
ftp://ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/ushcn/hcn_calc_mean_data.Z
ftp://ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/ushcn/station.inventory.Z

The valid, or non "-99.99," yearly average fields from mean "Filnet
value," or "3A," records in years later than, or equal to, 1860 are
used. Yes, these data were corrected for the Urban Heat Island
effect.
