During Winter Break, between Monday, December 15th, 2003 and Tuesday,
January 20th, 2004, we are recruiting participants for a psychological
study in human visual processes. The laboratory is located in room 1638
in the Beckman Institute (405 North Mathews Avenue, at the corner of
University Street and Mathews Avenue in Urbana).
The study has a person look at color face stimuli on a computer monitor
and press a key as quickly and accurately as possible when a circle of a
certain color appears. It lasts for less than 1 hour and pays $6.
We ask that participants be between the ages of 18 and 40, be
right-handed, have good color vision and acuity (glasses/contacts okay),
not have any physical or psychological difficulties, and be able to
follow English directions well. We also request that participants
should not have taken part in this experiment previously. Finally, we
ask that participants be actively engaged in the visual task to be
performed, as they do require active participation. It is fun, but
requires some effort.
If you are interested in getting more information about the study, or
wish to schedule a convenient date and time to participate between
December 15th, 2003 and January 20th, 2004, please contact Sarah at
217-244-3096 or through e-mail on <sgrison@staff.uiuc.edu>
Thank you. We hope to hear from you! |
