I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction.

I have a UK customer who has asked me to produce a system that gives
out differnet audio messages at exact times (shift changes and break
times). The audio side is zero problem as we already have an existing
audio unit on site, we simply have to upgrade the voice chip.

However, the timer must be capable of providing seperate clean
contacted outputs at different times on different days (in order to
fire the speech system, each message requires its own input). So far,
I count 33 different events, on different days (some of these are
"blocked" into Mon - Thursday, Sat & Sun) at different times.

Whilst that might sound easy (I thought so at first) there is one
problem. The timer MUST be synchronised by an Atomic Clock,
preferably the Rugby Clock. The system will require one central LED
time display and at least 3 additional "slave" time displays dotted
around the site.

I have got quotes from some specialist manufacturers, who all say that
this unit will have to be custom built, and some of them are
astronomical in price.

I was wondering if any of you esteemed chaps knew of an "off the
shelf" multi output system that is available. As a "future proofing"
exercise, I would like a system that has at least 40 programmable
outputs.

Please email me at scottjenkins_uk@NOSPAM-NOSPAM yahoo.com (obviously,
remove the NOSPAM_NOSPAM!!)

Thanks in advance

Scott

If you're looking for 40 _discrete_ outputs, that could be

tough.

You might try Gilderfluke.
