Hi All,
if anyone lives in NY area knows a good college to study nanotech,
please let me know.

Nanotechnology in NY,,,Columbia University, New York University (NYU), City
University of New York and Polytechnic University in Brooklyn-these
institutions have dedicated nanotech programs. The NSF has given NY six grants
that I know of. See www.smalltimes.com. . The nanotech hot bed is located in
Albuquerque New Mexico, not to mention Los Alamos, and California(i.e
Berkely). I know Washington University has a "Center for Nanotechnology", as
well as Wisconsin. Albuquerque even has a community college focusing on MEMS,
(TVI Community College). University of Reno has its own nanotech program, just
to name a few. your best bet is to do an internet search for nanotech programs
in NY universities, or some other derivative, and do your homework. Visit the
various NY universities, write, ask questions, etc...you've got to remember
nanotech is still in it's infancy...so a "good college" is as good as it's
funding, if you catch my drift. |
