Apparently, nanotubes are also ideal photon emitters:

Hmm, perhaps that's not surprising, considering that they can function
as single-electron transistors too.

It looks increasingly like nano-engineering is the bridge to the
quantum world.

They do seem to be pretty amazing! I can see a huge technological leap
when nanotechnology is cheap enough for medium sized businesses to start
using and implementing it into there products!

Have you have any idea how nanotechnology will effect the computer
world? I know there are Quantum Computing machines currently in progress,
but will nanotechnology be able to build on that ?
