This is nasty folks. Our US govt has been lying to our
soldiers about depleted uranium weapons, saying they are safe.
The chickens are now home to roost. 70% or more of Gulf War
I soldiers, 350,000 or so are expected to eventually go on
dissability over the next 10 years. The link below has the
statistics
Further research shows the effects on civilians in the war
zones, birth defects rates up by 600%... along with the same
rate of dissability in the civilians....and a slightly lesser
birth defect rate in the families of returning soldiers (since
the mothers in most cases were not contaminated).
More lies from both Bush and Clinton administrations, also
supported by some of our NATO allies... lies none the less
and having gross negative effects on the *entire human genome.
The USA is not being real bright across a broad range of these
issues. If we had bombed Iraq with refrigerated containers
full of banana's, sandwichs. beer and sushi, the war would
never have begun, and the costs would have been a hundredth of
the mess going on now......... and no depleated uranium into
the atmosphere, and humanity world wide.
