hello,
(sorry for my ignorance but i'm very new to this kind of stuff)
here is my trouble : i had an application which allow me to browse
from articles in an interface once at a time, and i would like to be
able to have full access to all of them to process them in batch. but
the files containing these articles seems to be crypted. i know it's
bad, etc., btw here is my question :
- assuming i had some texts in 'clear' (cut and paste from browsing
interface) and 'crypted' versions ,
- that i suppose this application used quite simple code (it's and old
application something from 1995 - and it did not contain data from nsa
so i made -the possibly false- assumption that the developers didn't
use unbreakable code but rather some cut'n paste library... hope they
were lazy enough to do it this way...)
how could i proceed to try to understand what is this code and how to
break it ?
(if you could help, please consider i'm a full newbie for your
explanations - or maybe if your are interested in this challenge i can
send some data to you ; i will not post it here because it's 'bad') |
