This is probably more of a surveyor's question, but I thought
this would be a good place to find the answer as well.
Here's the problem. I have a lot on a survey with sides
annotated as follows:

BOTTOM SIDE N79D01'20''W
LEFT SIDE N12D03'40''E
TOP SIDE S87D11'11''E
RIGHT SIDE S10D48'40''W

How do I find the coordinates of each lot corner?

Thanks very much for your help!
Frank
P.S. If the side lengths are needed, here they are:

bottom 192.37 ft.
left 77.65 ft.
top 192.55 ft.
right 104.98 ft.

I enter this into 'Scratch-Plot':

0 , 0
200 , 200
80 , 0
Hit the "Azi" button
Select "Line"
12.0611 , 77.65
92.8136 , 192.55
190.8111 , 104.98
280.9778 , 192.37

And then find this in the 'Scratch-Plot' file:

663&137aF+bkN0E0
41&759aS+bkN200E200
0
414&137aP+bkN80E0
178&187aL+bkN155.9359E16.2253
207&785aL+bkN146.4842E208.5432
528&724aL+bkN43.3675E188.8519
414&137aL+bkN80.0003E0.0021

Note that the "at" symbol has been replaced with an 'a' only for the purpose
of posting here. And the degree azimuth input should really be to five
decimal places.

Why post the same question in different newsgroups? See my answer in
alt.math.recreational
