Hello
There seem to be a number of very effecient and very fast 8x8 iDCT
implementations targeted at specific hardware or features such as SSE2.
I was wondering if there were any similar implementations for 4x4 (or even
arbitrary NxN) or whether it might be possible to take an iDCT designed for
8x8 and use it to unfold 4 4x4's. I suspect that the answer to this latter
question is no.
Sorry if this is a dumb question!
