I shall add:
__1) Nobody *disbelieves* Probability. (Do you intend to reduce Knowledge as a mere act of Faith?). But, one should be cautious; the concern is exactly to understand what its own field is and in what circumstances is abusive to use it.
__2) The K-S is useful to test (we all are SURELY aware) if a sample disregards a PARAMETRIZED Normal DISTRIBUTION; or appears so close that one could not found sufficient evidence to reject the MODEL.
__3) What I did intend to stress (seemly with scarse success) is that it is rare, very rare, theory (particularly in Life Science, or Economy) provide what the parameters are, case the use of Lilliefors Test, precisely, because estimate the values of the parameters from the sample, is indisputably a must..
__4) For me, this important goal is only overtaken , because, by the first time, it was shown that Monte Carlo could provide USEFUL) results the Theory was unable to achieve. * C´est tout *.
