Here's Alarmist of the Year Tim Flannery three years ago:
Leading environmentalist Professor Tim Flannery has warned that
Australia is now entering long-term climate change, which could cause
longer and more frequent droughts. He also predicts that the ongoing
drought could leave Sydney's dams dry in just two years.
Here's the weather as of yesterday:
Sydney's run of rainy days in a row - 11 - is the most in April for 77
years.
But at least Flannery isn't here to face the falling music. He's skipped
Kevin Rudd's 2020 summit to jet off to Canada yet again to tell the
locals to cut emissions of the kind he just blew out the back of his
jet:
Mr. Flannery also met British Columbia Premier Gordon Campbell,
participated in a round-table that brought together environmentalists
and industrialists, and did a media blitz.
Um, perhaps that wasn't quite the place and time to wail about warming,
either:
In some regions of usually balmy British Columbia, many were caught by
surprise by a storm that moved in late Friday and set snowfall records
in Nanaimo, Victoria and Vancouver.

a large apparent effect [On Climate]? The truth is that no one has yet
shown that it does." Don Aitkin |

Flannery is a global warming skeptic. And a Kook.
Err no he isn't -- quite the reverse. His book 'The Weather Makers'
argues the case for AGW and for related policy very strongly.
