Hi!

I'm new here and I'm very interested in finding an answer to a question
which is really important to me.

The question is simple. Do people really need each other? I mean is there
some scientific reason why we should feel bad when no one is around?

And if there is such a reason why some people choose isolation willingly? I
have no examples coming to memory, but I'm sure there are such people - they
choose to live in the wilderness or on uninhabited islands or somewhere like
that.

Maybe it is all a matter of habit? Maybe we can teach ourselves not to need
anyone else?
