So, yes, I believe that you're right. It's a sort of 6 in one hand,
half a dozen in the other whether you say "Friday morning temperature"
or "the Thursday overnight temperature".
But saying "Friday AM temperature" eliminates the possible confusion,
and I would see that as being a better way of wording things.
