On Consciousness and the Mystical Gnosis.

[ Can one exist where there is no time or space? ]

One can most certainly experience being in a realm of conscious
existence where time does not exist; or leastwise where it is always
NOW, an eternal now, where there is no change; no space as we know it
here, no personality, no memory of ever having had existed on this
world or this life, no potential to even think, for thinking takes
time. All there is is consciousness of existing in that eternal now,
and with an understanding, knowing, which almost defies description -
but not quite. There is a passion within one which is like dynamite, a
passion for existence and TO BE.

For me personally that experience came about spontaneously (not
wanted, sought or invoked) and lasted for three 'outside' hours. That
is to say that when consciousness returned to normal three hours had
passed. But it seemed like forever or a zillion years whilst there.
It seems that one had hit what can only be called Primordial
Consciousness or the ground of our cognitive being. From hindsight it
was of course a mind blowing event. Over the years I have only ever
met fourteen living people who had known the identical thing. But it
is plain enough from hindsight that this has been known presumably
since humanity has existed - and all kinds of silly myths have been
built around it by those hearing of it but not knowing it.

There are more parts to our existence than meets the eye, and hence we
should indeed come to know our Self. I was asked to document this
event (and further events which occurred relating to it) in a prose
book, which I did. It certainly became well read - and brought a few
death threats too. Such is humanity eh.

As to how this level of consciousness can be studied by the scientific
methodology I cannot see; but it can certainly be known by being IN
IT. For me, among other things, it puts the lie to religions. The
study of outer spaces is fascinating and important, but not to the
exclusion of the study of inner space in so far as one can get it; and
being in it is as good a way of any of studying it :- ) Personally I
call it the knowledge of SELF, or Psychognosis. It seems, by
experience anyway, that we are made of three parts - a Trimorphic
Phenomenon.
