Moscow, Russia, April 1, 2004 Nanotech Information Services Ltd,
Institute of Nanotechnology of International Conversion Fund, and
Youth Science Society announced start of Competition of Russian youth
projects on domestic development of Molecular Nanotechnology (MNT).

Molecular Nanotechnology is widely recognized as technology mainstream
of XXI century, which will lead us to ability of precise molecular
manufacturing things atom-by-atom.

Future of Russia is not imaginable without high technologies, and
without science, technology and business professionals. Molecular
nanotechnology development will allow solution of many important
national tasks. This direction of hightech industry opens the way to
intensive innovative progress, next technology level of other
industries, increase of life quality.

This is the first youth competition on this topic in humankind
history. Some expert told that nanotechnology is a last Russia's
chance to enter the future as high-tech power. Great science and
technology potential inherited from Soviet Union may be applied to new
multiple fast breakthroughs toward critical technologies.

Officials of Institute of Nanotechnology (www.nanotech.ru) and Youth
Science Society (www.mno.ru) mebmers understand extremely high role of
young scientists, engineers, entrepeneurs in coming restoration and
advancement of Russian nanotechnology leadership.

Nanotechnology Information Services, Moscow based nanotech information
company, (www.nanobot.ru) organized and sponsored this competition to
systematize and coordinate national civilian nanotechnology efforts,
award leaders and involve public into nanotechnology race.

Participants must submit complete projects on nanotechnology,
biotechnology, advanced materials and economics of high-tech before
