Hi.
Has anyone ever tried the following procedure:
1. Find a midget Mandelbrot set.
2. Explore this as though it were the main Mandelbrot set.
3. Now find a midget in that.
4. Now use this midget in step (2).
5. Repeat until it gets too slow or you are too stunned and
awed, to zoom any more.
(You'll need a program that supports bignum if you want to go really
far with this.)
If so, what have you observed with it? |

What, no response? Haven't you ever been curious to explore a
midget? I've tried it some to see Mandelbrot features with additional
ornamentation for some stunning vistas. Ornaments upon ornaments,
baby! |

Not a very new idea: ( I saw it first about 1990 or so):[/quote:0473b53b7f]

What is of interest is anything "new"? |

I didn't really see anything relating to midget-diving... |
