Those who are blind to the reality of the divine will be blind to all that
is around and in them as well. You speak with the arrogance of one of
Spiritual immature, but it is what I have come to expect from montheists.
Maybe in a few thousand more years you will understand if your faith manages
to mature and stick around that long. Just one final point the Jews from
whom all the montheistic faiths evoloved started out with a God and a
Goddess, just something to think about. |

Ah, well, there you go. The concept of a goddess is more primative.
Once people matured spiritually, they realized there was no goddess
and came to accept the one true God.
Perhaps in a few thousand more years, you will understand...

That is not in fact true the reality is much more complex. The Divine is
neither male nor female; it is human perception that requires a gender to
allow the minds to relate to that, which is beyond comprehension. The
Spiritually immature which is what most monotheist are do not grasp that and
insist on there being one God, when there is one Divine with many aspects
that we as people relate. The God and Goddess forms are means to relate to
the Greater Divine force when one gains true Spiritual understanding then
they come to know that all faiths revere the same Divine Source and just use
differing paths to that source. In the journey up the mountain of Spiritual
enlightenment there are many paths some are smoother than others some more
direct, but they all lead to the same Divine Source. It is the monotheists
that being of such a young faith has yet to grasp the fullness of this
universal truth. The destination is what is important not the path you chose
to take. It is my faith that gave birth to your own for it is from the
Pagans that you have begun to gain the insights, but it is your blind
arrogance that keeps you from seeing the true wisdom that lies before you. |

Ah, a contradiction.
First, you state that "all [paths] lead to the same Divine Source."
Then, you quickly dismiss one of those very paths by stating the
"blind arrogance [of a monotheist keeps him] from seeing the true
wisdom that lies before you."
[The words in the square brackets are mine.]
So, by your way of reasoning, all faiths lead to the same god - or
goddess - but only if they are essentially the same as your own faith.
In this way, you dismiss with a rhetoric the beliefs of half the
planet.
Of course, you'd have to do something like that because your basic
assumption is clearly incorrect. All faiths do not revere the same
"divine source." The creature worshipped by the satanist is clearly
not for example, the God of Christianity. There are several faiths
which are mutually exclusive from one another. |

What's strange about it? The verse about us being made in God's image
has nothing to do with our physical appearance. As the New American
Bible explains this verse in its footnotes: "Man is here presented as
the climax of God's creative activity; he resembles God primarily
because of the dominion God gives him over the rest of creation." |

Yup! Three in one. Meat, potatoes and a green veg make one dinner!
As I recall when baptized by John the Baptist, Jesus stood in the
water whilst perching (Holy Spirit) on His own head and calling down
from heaven His (God) approbation of Himself. And for his fourth
trick....Resurrection?

This my point about the immaturity of your Spiritual understanding you
choose to remain blind to the Divine Wisdom and it will make the journey
impossible till you get passed your arrogance. As a point of fact just as a
seperate note Satanists do not worship any God whatsoever, most of them do
not even believe in your God Satan, but believe instead in the human ability
to do whatever they want without thought to consequence. It is more a
rejection of the rigid Christian ideals than anything else. |

How very true we seek to return to the Goddess ..... <snip
Except that there is no goddess.
There is only one true God.
One true God in four persons... right?
You made a typo. It's one true God in three persons: the Father; Son;
and Holy Spirit.

And Ubermensch makes four persons.

What is funny is you do not understand it is Man who made God in his own
image and not the other way around.
Is this just your own assumption stemming from your own bias or do you
have any evidence that mankind created God instead of God creating
man?
[/quote:6749d1ed02]
Yeah it is called reality and history and even a little intelectual honesty.
We all need to relate to the Divine but the Divine is unknowable and beyond
comprhension so man created gods that they could relate to, it is the
evolution of religion.
[quote:6749d1ed02]For humans to grasp the Divine something
beyond mortal comprehension humans created a God form they could relate
to
and in so doing lost some of the mystery that is the Divine.
[/quote:6749d1ed02]
[quote:6749d1ed02]Again, there is no evidence of this. It's just your own speculation.
Based in my research and that of countess others.[/quote:6749d1ed02] |
