hi,
I went to the dentist after a long time and ended up with some
fillings..a couple fo root canals..etc..and am doing fine now..
However, my teeth seem to feel different a little loose if you may
especially around the root canalled teeth...
On the initial visit, I was recommended a deep cleanign and
scaling...but I was more interested in getting the cavities fixed so I
never got it done...I have had two more cleanings since then and the
dentist has'nt mentioned anything like that again...My pocket
measurements are 2s and 3s mostly..one or two 4s..I have noticed my
gums receding near a couple of premolars (slightly yellow dentin is
visible)...but the gum is not loose or anything...it feels firm...but
there are gaps in my teeth as compared to other people's my teeth seem
further apart especially people my age (i'm 26)..should I be visiting
a periodontist..my dentsit has'nt suggested this so far..but I am
really worried and want to keep my teeth healthy for life..
Another question - is listerine bad for the gums,...it seems to sting
a bit too much...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.. |

Mobility should be easy for your dentist to check, as should the need
for more involved periodontal care.
If the teeth are loose in the absence of periodontal problems, the
possibility that you clench or grind your teeth esp. at night should be
evaluated.
Listerine can be irritating for some people. Listen to your
body--there ain't no magic in Listerine, and you can do easily without it.
