I work and live in the Great Rift Valley of Eastern Africa, my problem
seems medical and social.
This problem is called Brucellosis, whether it is an epidemic or not is
above my qualification to
stigmatize, however, about a dozen cases of acute and chronic clinical
symtoms are confirmed
at my side lab with serological evaluation of Brucella AB antigen
reactions.
there is a 85 % curative rate after adopting the latest Formula of
treatment: Doxycycline 100mg
BID for 45 days with Parentheral Gentamycin 5mg/kg daily for seven
days.
My problem is not complians or failed treatment, it is the increasing
number of new cases now
even in the towns around, who claim they never drink milk or diary
products with out first boiling
or cooking, so my question; what can i do to curb the epidemics, though
i have a plan how to
solve the problem, which may require hundreds of millions of dollars,
never mind the MOH of my
country, who is tied with millions of its own health projects? |
