Off shore mining of hydrates -- not that I fish much in the Indian
Ocean -- but isn't this a sea floor environmental disaster?

Maybe the volume of the hydrates removed from the ocean will equal the
amount of ice melt due to burning those hydrates . . .

Perhaps a reason to read "The Swarm-frank schatzing" although it drifts
off in the end it has a very interesting story about the effects of
hydrate mining. |
