I am working on creating wildlife habitat that is off-limits to
humans ("pure habitat"). Want to help? (I spent the previous 8
years fighting auto dependence and road construction.)

There we have it: the ultimate Vandeman post. Completely
content-free. Presumably he's not had enough concussions to improve
his intelligence yet...

Please disregard the previous post.
Mike Vandeman has been exposed as a professional and personal failure.
Vandeman is a cultist(synanon) and, in general, a pseudo-scientific
usenet kook.

You mean 'ARE there any data...' 'Data' is a plural, not a singular
noun. I don't give a rat's ass about these childish little flame wars,
but dammit, I do hate to see the language abused.

You are right. There should have been quotes around that. Now answer the
question.

Among Mikey's various errors of logic, grammar & interpersonal skills,[/quote:d776b711c4]
confusing data with datum is hardly worth noting. Data as a singular
will eventually become 'standard' English, as 'news' has already done.
