The fact that there aren't millions of dead has always been taken as a

you repost it:-))

It must be fun to be thought of as a goof for so long in a forum.

Frankly I do not care what Jim thinks of me. Fact of the matter is
that I am not on record for having predicting any particular total
number, large or small, of cases vCJD would end up producing.

It is anybody's guess, why Jim suddenly took the idea that I have
into his head and felt a compelling need to share it. Smell a rat.

"3. In the light of recent estimates of the incidence of scrapie in
sheep in the UK, and of further considerations of the properties of
scrapie agents, it is no longer possible to exclude an unmodified
scrapie agent as the agent responsible for BSE."

I realise English is not Torstens first language but that doesn't say
that
Scrapie is the probable cause of BSE, merely that it cannot be said it
isn't
a cause. Hardly a definitive proof

Postulating that I have said that scrapie is the probable origin is just
worthless. You must be able to quote me for saying it (And you can't).

of course not, because you never put things in your own words, you merely
quote websites

#### Well, Jim, I really expected that the carcases would NOT be
tested. This thing is many things to many people, agricultural health,
human health, and political dynamite. If the presence of manganese
instead of copper on the prions is the common cause, Human and Cow,
(the one proveable argument) then it would show in virtually every
animal exposed to the high Mn level in the polluted areas if it was
the target of the tests applied "Helpfully"...but how to do it?
Pointless testing.

Clueless reply to my post.

I don;t think you have the faintest idea about what you are talking
about. Merely parroting stuff you mindlessly read elsewhere.

##### Probably browsing or scanning hundreds of abstracts is clueless
and mindless, you have a better method? Anyhow, I am directly using
info from this clueless effort on myself and the placebo effects are
pretty good so far considering there is "no known cure". Sorry that
you recently lost your Dad, (I hope I am not committing a social
error, OK? I often do.) Del Crow #####
