i have a actuator that work on piezoelectric phenonmenon. The transfer
of power from the stator to slider is due to the friction. But my
actuator shows dead zone phenomenon at low control voltages. As the
vibration generated by the low voltage is not able to overcome the
preload provided by the rotor mass and external load. We can also see
that the dead zone is dependent on the normal force acting on the
slider. Now i want to overcome the dead zone and want to have the
system without dead zone. Please suggest me how to model and
compensate the dead at various load conditions.Hope to get the reply
soon
