Poll... What date will the final shuttle launch?...

Do you think the program will be extended? There are 5 remaining
flights. Would they refuse to fly some if a safety stand down occured?

Just wondering what people here think will occur

This should become clearer over the next month. At the moment there's
wildly conflicting information about NASA's immediate future. One
side says 10% budget cuts:

The other side says 20% budget hikes:

So that means that we'll either have no manned flight for a decade, or
we'll be going to the moon. I think the best prediction right now is:
"Reply hazy, try again."

Just pull the whole space budget, waste of money in the eyes of the

In the eyes of the majority of Americans, cosmetic surgery (~$30b/
year) is twice as important as space exploration (~$15b/year).
