Wait a minute. Did you say australopithecine-like proportions?

Yes, the LB1 humerus and ulna are relatively long compared to the
femur:
For example, the humerofemoral index of 85.4 is outside the range of
variation for H. sapiens, but is the same as AL 288-1 A. afarensis,
and midway between the indices for apes and humans. The more complete
left ilium [pelvic bone] also indicates that the pelvis is flared
antero-laterally, consistent with an australopithecine-shaped thoracic
region. Body proportions of LB1 are the same as AL 288-1 A. afarensis,
but differ from all other hominins for which they are reliable data,
including H. erectus (Morwood et al. 2005:1016).

--- end quoting ---

I believe those authors above that Flores man was
probably Australopithecus and it implies, then, that
hominids migrated out of Africa very early. I would
guess that as Orrorin migrated south some 6 million
years ago, he also migrated north into Asia. So as
there was Australopithecus in Africa there was Australopithecus in
Asia.

The above article also suggests to me that the measurements of indexes
such as brachial were very
much erroneous in past anthropology. Maybe the researchers were too
biased in favor of apelike features. Specifically the bones of Lucy
are missing
a full intact radius and ulna and thus the researchers
guessing as to the length of the radius and ulna and then coming up
with mistaken brachial index.

How many full intact radius and ulna have been found
for Hominids? Only a few? And is there a reliable means of
extrapolating the full length of a fractional
recovered fossil?

AP believes???? This is the same loon who thinks crushed skulls in
the
fossil record are evidence for killing. What this loon believes is
irrevant
because when there are only few possibilities to choose from, and
right or
wrong, could be gotten simply by chance.

A further disply of Archimedes Plutonium ignorance can be seen here:

Archimedes Plutonium: "You need an increase in
brain size from a chimp to a human to have
that foresight and planning and then the
geometry of a projectile to hit a target."

Of course just the opposite is true. Nick Toth has demonstrated
that Kanzi, the flintknapping chimp, throws just as accurately
as most humans (for a short distance) and in some types memory
tests chimps can and do remember better than modern humans.

On chimp planning, Kanzi can remember where he hides a favorite
ball more than a year later when kept out of the area he hid it.
Many humans can't remember where they put their car keys five
minutes ago.

Archimedes Plutonium has clearly demonstrated he is nothing more
than a antho-challenged troll.
