I don't see anyone holding a gun to anyone's head forcing anyone to to
remain in the collectively acquired collectively defended territory of
the United States and pay taxes.
You are free to choose to leave anytime.
Call 1-800-FLY-4-LESS and book the next one way flight to Mogadishu in
low tax paradise Somalia.
And wow, look what great shape it's in.
What do you think is wrong with it?
Medicare?
Nothing at all - so long as we're willing to either (1) bankrupt the
country
The public option will cut costs by half.
or (2) start rationing care in major ways.
We _already_ ration health care.
The only question is how it's rationed.
Repugliars only want the rich to have health care.

No. That's what Medicaid and Schip are for.
The public option is for forcing the middle class
onto a gummint program, and to force the poor
elderly off their Medicare Advantage supplemental
insuranc so they can submit, and line up at the

Maybe they need to recall them Repug governors ASAP!
Ah, don't worry. There isn't going to be a pubic
option. America is a free people, and you can't
force us to kneel down and pray to a bunch of
pubes anyway. We can save time and opt out
completely, saving us all from the nastiness of
any more harebrained leftard schemes. Change.
Embrace it. Love it. Or leave. I hear Canada's
taking applications.

You're insane. There is nothing about any of this that will force
people into medical care they don't want. You are a paranoid freak. |

What's "wrong" with Medicare is fraud perpetrated by such as the Frist
family -- yes, that Frist, you know, Bill "Dr. Video" Frist. The same
week Frist was sworn in as Senate Majority Leader, his family's
business pais a $600 million fine for Medicare fraud -- and that was
not their only such fine.

There will always be fraud in any system, stupid.

Nope, essentially because the huge legal and illegal immigration
rate will ensure that there are plenty of new tax payers to pay for
the care of the boomers who mostly do have plenty of assets.
Only the fools that were stupid enough to rent for 'life' dont. |

Well, good. Then you need to join the Cause for

And clearly, since there is no provision to increase
the supply of medical labor in this bill, it will neccessarily
treat medical access as a zero sum game. The only
way person X can get more is for person Y to get less.
From granny to somebody. Now, the other problem is
that we already have programs that take care of the poor.
It is not the poor this will affect most. Someone estimated
that of the 47, or 30 (according to Obama's infamous
healthcare speech) million who cain't get no coverage,
only about 5 million make less than 50K a year. Anyone
who makes over 50K a year can get coverage. Perhaps
they'd like a tax break to help out, but they can. Someone
else estimated that millions would soon enough be forced
off their private plans, in spite of marketing to the contrary.
But only the incredibly credulous believe the marketing.
Not one red cent will be added to the deficit too, uh huh.
There's a leftard born every minute.
So, anyway, it isn't about covering the poor, it's about
getting another federal gummint tumor growing. |
