If not, then what's the problem?
In fact, what's the problem if they _do_ opt out?

That's not the problem. The problem is that the
Blu-Ray (i.e. normal) Democrats will opt out of the
pubic option, so the states won't even get a chance
to do it themselves. |

And why do I cal the normal Democrats "Blu-Ray?"
Because they are the future. It's time for the running
yellow lapdog Democrats to step out of the way for
Blu-Rays like Owens. Obsolescence comes quick
these days. |

No. That's what Medicaid and Schip are for.
The public option is for forcing the middle class
onto a gummint program, and to force the poor
elderly off their Medicare Advantage supplemental
insuranc so they can submit, and line up at the
Soylent Green factory. It's the patriotic thing to
do. |

don't spree with everyone else's money. |

Ah, don't worry. There isn't going to be a pubic
option. America is a free people, and you can't
force us to kneel down and pray to a bunch of
pubes anyway. We can save time and opt out
completely, saving us all from the nastiness of
any more harebrained leftard schemes. Change.
Embrace it. Love it. Or leave. I hear Canada's
taking applications. |

And wow, look what great shape it's in.
Then look at the demographics and imagine what it will look like in
the future.
When they continually talk about needing "greater efficiency" in order
to "control costs", you can be pretty sure costs are in fact *out of
control*. And will only get worse.
So, with that great success under their belt, now they want to herd
the rest of the population onto a similar train wreck.

Medicare?
Nothing at all - so long as we're willing to either (1) bankrupt the
country or (2) start rationing care in major ways.

What's "wrong" with Medicare is fraud perpetrated by such as the Frist
family -- yes, that Frist, you know, Bill "Dr. Video" Frist. The same
week Frist was sworn in as Senate Majority Leader, his family's
business pais a $600 million fine for Medicare fraud -- and that was
not their only such fine. |
