- IT'S THE STEPHANIE MILLER SHOWWW !!!
=============

Listen to...

THE STEPHANIE MILLER SHOWWW!!!!!

(CAUTION: Banned for Republican'ts by the Drugster's
Party of NO, but they like it that way.)

The philosopher and political theorist John Stuart Mill stated
the importance of knowing the opposing views:

"He who only knows one side of the case, knows little of that."
-- John Stuart Mill, 1859

THE STEPHANIE MILLER SHOWWW!!!!!

.................============ lineup:
(all times, Pacific)

Rachel Maddow or Clout .......Early news. Rachel is cute as a
kitten and brilliant, yet Dr. Maddow never loses her sense of
humor. (On MSNBC TV too.)
2:00am-3:00am

Bill Press .......Good early National news & opinion magazine
3:00am-6:00am

Stephanie Miller ....Like Bob and Tom with news. MENSA with fart
jokes.
6:00am-9:00am

"He who only knows one side of the case, knows little of that.
If he is unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side:
if he does not so much as know what they are,
he had no ground for preferring either opinion."
-- John Stuart Mill, (On Liberty, 1859)

Thom Hartmann..like talk radio with brains. A Jeffersonian
Renaissance man.
If you are a Big Picture and Concepts kinda guy, Thom's your man.
Hartmann often starts the show debating a prominent Republican.
Thom and Dr. Maddow are the smartest people in radio.
9:00am-12noon

Ed Schultz .......Belly Fire! The cutting edge on Health Care!
"A gun toting, meat eating union man from the heartland." On
MSNBC too.
12noon-3:00pm

The Ron Reagan Show.... surprise! better than I thought.
Variable format, from news (usually), to topical chat.
3:00pm-6:00pm

Randi Rhodes....A news hound's newshound, Randi's didactic style
works especially well with her superb news analysis and
explanation of the highly complex issues that most other newsies
can't even fully grasp.
6:00pm-9:00pm

Mad Mike Malloy - Doesn't mince words. Uses insight to make
stridency respectable. Adults only.
9:00pm-12midnight

========
========another possibility...
(Not corporate sponsored-feelsgood news - if you dare.)

KPFA, 94.1 FM in Berkeley, is the oldest
community supported radio station in the USA. Pacifica's flag
station.
More liberal, ...Democracy Now! with Amy Goodman 6 am and 9AM,
Flashpoints 5:00 PM.
------->> In depth News magazines from
6:00 - 10 or 11, plus afternoon drive time.
- Best (uncensored -it's true!) news on Middle East, U.S. Media,
and other censored taboo issues. (But often often weird or local
programing/music at other times, always worth a peek.)
........... Listen Online [Good dial-up connection available]

The people who paid for an annual subscription to the "stephcast"
podcast truly have gotten GYPED with the discontinuance of Stand Up
News and Tinsel Talk. These Jim Ward segments WERE quite funny, well
written with good sound effects.

Now you get 1 Hour of Fox news sound bites and a repetitive "sports
talk radio" rehashing of health insurance every day.

Fortunately, the FM Mormon/Bonneville classic rock station did an A to
Z music stunt for over a week so there were interesting deep tracks to
flip over to during the Bor-a-thon that SM has become.

And SATURN is being CLOSED by GM in 2010, so your future trade-in
value could be iffy. But when did that stop Jones Radio hosts from
voice over work. "the dollar, some countries don't even want it"....
"wheel barrels full of German marks" sheeshh.
