This is the PERFECT movie to watch on a Halloween weekend. The first
time I saw this was in a packed hotel room at a Santa Barbara hotel
room. I couldn't figure out why the other people at this science
fiction convention were acting out all the parts.

Years later, I remember taking my 20-year-old, twin nieces to a
midnight viewing down in Petaluma, CA. The theater was absolutely
crazy, and I've loved this strange film every time I've watched it
since. In fact, I own the VHS of it, and might even practice the time
warp later today.

A BELATED HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

(( I never see Susan Sarandon but what I think of Janet Weiss. I
think it still plays sometimes in Key West. ))

Barb, if only we all could look as good as Tim Curry did in his corset
and fishnet stockings. (grinning)

I also have the VHS. Our kids tried to talk us out of going to see it the
first time, but I wanted to know what it was all about, and to their
surprise we loved it. Rob went once as Frankie, and Penny (2 of my kids)
won $100 doing a lip sinc contest to Frankie's entrance song. It was a fun
place to go, and we did get up and dance the time warp--we were probably the
oldest couple there, complete with sun glasses. We still play it
occasionally. I never see Susan Sarandon but what I think of Janet Weiss. I
think it still plays sometimes in Key West.
