It appears Fox News has finally come to its senses, beginning with an
update on the story it broke yesterday.

LEWISVILLE, TX (Rueters) -- Directors
of The George W. Bush Presidential Library
here have asked a three-year moratorium
on completion of construction after learning
the nation's 43rd President is illiterate.
"It shocked the hell out of all of us,"
said one of the 13 directors, requesting
anonymity. "We'd be the laughing stock
of the world if the library opened and people
found out that we had a nincompoop
in the Oval Office."

Fox News broke the story -- its first
negative news about GWB in nine years --
after being thrashed on the Internet
by one Ed Conrad and finally deciding
to shape up or ship out.
"Honestly, the guy (Bush) really looked
like he could read and write but we had
re-examined a few of his speeches
and now we know it's true," said Sean
"Ins" Hannity.
The George W. Bush Library will
hold billions of pages of official records
that document his two-term administration
but, strangely, all paperwork concerning
911 is missing because Dick Cheney's
secretary forgot to turn on the printer.
Nevertheless, it includes memorable
quotations from some of GWB's speeches
that had been copper-plated for display
in the Presidential library but, just yesterday,
were buried deep beneath Grant's Tomb.

ED CONRAD'S EDITORIAL ABOUT THE OLD FOX NEWS
<
Fox News.
<
It is light years removed from honest journalism and
certainly a pathetic excuse for a national news channel.
<
It is strictly a Republican Party press release (the right
arm, actually) and, if our legion of corrupt legislators had
any guts, it would have cut off its balls long ago and
mandated that it change its name to something
like, say, Comedy Central.
<
A news organization -- any news organization -- is required
to possess a least a semblance of journalistic integrity and,
therefore, cannot continually editorialize the "news" to suit its own,
rotten, vested interests, meanwhile ignoring any and all contrary
points of view.
<
In recent months, The Fox "talking points" have been
extremely critical of President Obama and his Democrat
administration . . . about how close we came to the second
Great Depression, the handling of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan,
and lately the courageous stand to completely overhaul this nation's
despicable health care system.
<
Criticism would be more than welcome by Fox if it was based on facts
and evidence -- but this is hardly the case, as owner Rupert Murdoch
undoubtedly knows (and ignores).
<
The fact is, Fox criticism of the major issues of the day
should've been expressed long ago while Dick Cheney,
like Edgar Bergen, was speaking through his puppet,
Georgie Porgie Bush, and manufacturing evil, like planning
and carrying out the attack on his own people on 9/11 to
get us involved in the two unnecessary wars that followed.
<
Murdoch, a zillionaire, has assembled quite a cast to do
his dirty work, to continue his long tradition of yellow
journalism.
<
His only possible regret is that despised Sen. Joe McCarthy isn't
still alive to anchor one of his shows.
