EFAD in mice - 1950 study...

Methyl linoleate was sufficient to cure the symptoms, therefore this
doesn't look like a VitB6/desaturase deficiency.

This may be the start of poorly designed "EFAD" experiments. Did they
control properly? Did they make assumptions that should've been what
they sought to demonstrate? Did they use animals that were likely to
be more sensitive to just about any kind of minor insult relative to
"wild" ones? Etc. Why is it so difficult for people to see that this
"experiment" really doesn't tell us much of anything? At the very
beginning, they mention that lard "cured" the "EFAD" syndrome in mice
on a fat-free diet, and the lard of that time was likely to be much
more saturated than it is now. Did they use fresh coconut oil as a
control? Come on now, this is not "on point" at all !
