Uppsala University hereby declares the position of Post-Doc at the
Ångström laboratory, Department of Physics and Astronomy,
Subdepartment of High-Energy Physics, Accelerator Physics group, to be
filled soon for a period of two years.
The Post-Doc will work on one of the fundamental limitations for
future linear colliders: the breakdown in radio-frequency accelerating
structures. The research work includes investigating the physics of
the breakdown by stimulating and analyzing discharges in-situ in
electron microscopes in Uppsala and upgrading the Two-Beam Test-Stand
at CERN. The candidate is expected to spend part of the time at CERN.
