The Life Sciences Division has an opportunity for a Biophysicist
Postdoctoral Fellow to develop novel micro/nano devices for single
cell analysis using mass spectrometry.
As a Biophysicist, you will:
• Perform microfabrication to develop novel devices.
• Test the performance of the fabricated devices using mass
spectrometry.
• Maintain an accurate and detailed laboratory notebook of all
experiments performed.
• Prepare results for publication in scientific journals and
presentations at seminars.
• Participate in grant applications.
Key Success Factors:
• Ph.D. within the last two years in mechanical engineering,
bioengineering, or chemistry.
• Strong background in microfabrication including lithography and
device integration.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and organize
data for publication and presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in bioanalytical sciences.
• Ability to assist in preparation of research grants.
