telescope question...

I purchased a Celestron AstroMaster 90 AZ refractor telescope. I like it
because I can see lots of stuff with the 90mm lense. The problem is the
telescope is too long for the dovetail mount, and it won't stop shaking.
Will using rings help ?


Can I get another tripod ? How will I know if the dovetail will fit ?
