Arctic Has Potential To Alter Earth's Climate:
Arctic Land And Seas Account For Up To 25
Percent Of World's Carbon Sink
ScienceDaily (Oct. 15, 2009) In a new study in the journal
Ecological Monographs, ecologists estimate that Arctic lands and
oceans are responsible for up to 25 percent of the global net sink of
atmospheric carbon dioxide. Under current predictions of global
warming, this Arctic sink could be diminished or reversed, potentially
accelerating predicted rates of climate change.
www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/10/091014144729.htm
There is a serious problem here-- "Under
current predictions of global warming ..." those
"predictions" have zero validity or credibility.
Michael Mann and Briffa have totally destroyed
the entire "global warming" theory, with their
fraudulent tree ring chart.
In their review paper, David McGuire of the U.S. Geological Survey and
the University of Alaska at Fairbanks and his colleagues show that the
Arctic has been a carbon sink since the end of the last Ice Age, which
over time has accounted for between zero and 25 percent, or up to
about 800 million metric tons, of the global carbon sink.
That is not as much as it seems-
just 67,000 tonnes per year
On average, says McGuire, the Arctic accounts for 10-15 percent of the
Earth's carbon sink. But the rapid rate of climate change in the
Arctic
Indeed the "rapid rate of climate change" in the
Arctic does not appear to be "warming" in spite
of the USGS and NOAA, who have been caught
with false data.
Arctic" is not what McGuire would suggest.
about twice that of lower latitudes could eliminate the sink and
possibly make the Arctic a source of carbon dioxide.
We need more CO2 for our increasing
populations and growing economies.
Either way short term or long term the data
doesn't support man made global warming?

So what? He has more science in one finger
than you will ever have in your whole body.
What we can ever expect from pissypants ...
And he still has not learned the basics of
good usenet posting
There are three types of people that you
can_not_talk_into_behaving_well. The
stupid, the religious fanatic, and the evil.
1- The stupid aren't smart enough to follow the
logic of what you say. You have to tell them
what is right in very simple terms. If they do
not agree, you will never be able to change
their mind.
2- The religious fanatic: If what you say goes
against their religious belief, they will cling to
that belief even if it means their death.
3- There is no way to reform evil- not in a
million years. There is no way to convince
the anthropogenic global warming alarmists,
the terrorists, serial killers, paedophiles, and
predators to change their evil ways, They
knew what they were doing was wrong, but
knowledge didn't stop them. It only made
them more careful in how they went about
performing their evil deeds.- Hide quoted text -

ROTFLMAO
Well pissypants, if you stopped straining at gnats in
vain attempts to deny the undeniable, some people
might listen to what you say. Until then you might
as well stay off usenet.
