Edmond Wollmann is falsely claiming copyrights for Usenet posts at http://www.smbtech.com/ed

The inherent problem with his line of thinking (other than it being equivalent with a slug's)
is that the posts in question are conversations which contain conversations with other people on Usenet. That's right. He never obtained copyright permissions from the people he's conversing with. So, he cannot legally place his copyright mark on something unless it is fully and entirely his own.

Get it, Wollmann? When you put other people's text, responses, quotes in your posts, you do not own the copyright to them, whether or not you slap a "©" on it.

It doesn't matter if you published a crappy, low-selling book.

It doesn't matter if you call yourself a "publsher" (even though all you've published is your own crappy book, which is rife with plagiarism and copyright infringements on its own).

It doesn't matter if you have a "SAN number".

Your words on Usenet are copyrighted no more than anyone else's.

And using your logic, every time you quote another person in a Usenet post, you're violating their copyright. When you post private emails from former lovers who saw the light and dumped your fraudulent ass, you're violating their copyright.

And filing a false DMCA notice is illegal, dumbfuck. When you grab the bull's horns don't be surprised when he stomps on your head and then shits all over you.
