The press release video doesn't tell us enough about performance, or
technology either.

Their claims of superior performance are very bold. What do we have here?

The little technical information contained in their video makes the
bulb appear to be a form of CRT.

Even if the color temperature issue is satisfied, how will the CRI
compare to an incandescent? The bulb is still using an energized
"discharge" to excite phosphors.

I also noted that the video was quick to condemn phosphor LEDs without
addressing RGB arrays.

At any rate, it will be interesting to see how this technology plays
out. I want to get my hands on one (or more).

Unless lumen/watt values are given, there isn't much to say.
