manna/quails from the sky etc etc etc) and by virtue of these miracles
people will believe him and his message. Which they did. |

Hahaha. You really need to think outside the square Pierre. How can an
educated man interpret the bible literally? I mean, do you see anyone
today doing these miracles? What was so special about back then? They
were just ordinary people going about their boring lives like the rest
of us. Don't believe the hype. You need to stop hanging around
christians. They have brainwashed you. Life would be so much more
exciting if it were true though. Unfortunately it is just crap and
life ain't that interesting. And homosapiens aren't that important
either. Do you really think the creator of the universe (think of the
size of it), assuming there is one, would actually want to talk to us?
The next time you are at the beach, pick up a handful of seawater and
then watch one drop of it fall back into the sea. That is the whole
human race, life on this planet and the entire solar system. We are
not that important my friend. |

It is a selfish species whom thinks the creator created the universe
with only them in mind. As with all the BS stories that physically
cannot happen in the bible; most people understand that these things did
not actually happen. So to believe they did happen takes 'faith' if you
are able to truly believe that these things happened with divine
intervention from the lord then you may call yourself a believer. In my
mind it is similar to the concept '2 + 2 = 5' out of the book '1894 (by
George Orwell).
As insignificant the human race, and indeed our entire galaxy might be I
still believe we should at least try to enjoy our time in solitude while
trying to figure out if there is anything else to this place. Research
into quantum computers is advancing as well as other interesting fields
like artificial intelligence and gene replacement therapy. Heck, we
might even achieve the point of technological singularity if we all put
our heads down and actually put in some effort.
